PAVING STONE PATIO | RETAINING WALLS | OUTDOOR KITCHEN | SOFTSCAPING
Nearly an acre lot with major grade issues, clients of this new home in Aspen Estates were in need of unique landscaping ideas for their new property.
We proposed a retaining wall system that not only acts as a functional piece for land drainage but also creates an aesthetic feature piece for the clients to enjoy their new yard.
The multi-tiered retaining walls on the North side of the yard naturally creates a central patio, while the extension of the existing exposed aggregate concrete underneath the deck defines the L-shaped outdoor kitchen and opens the space for dining. The Custom stonework was added to match the existing pillar within the outdoor kitchen, illustrating just one of the many construction details. The south side of the yard not only takes care of the land drainage by adding multi-level retaining wall planters but also delivers an open greenspace for the kids.
