For the clients of this Tuscany home, we came up with backyard landscaping ideas for building a retaining wall on a slope.

The homeowners didn’t have a great deal of usable space to work with, and the yard was quite small. However, by adding manufactured stone retaining walls to mimic a natural look, it became both aesthetic and functional. We were able to tie the yard into its natural surrounding as it looked over one of Calgary’s beautiful ravines, and created a functional backyard landscape with open usable green space.
